It's not just the Taco. When new vehicle sales take a hit, so do trade ins. That means used car values are up do to thin inventories. Dealers are having to pay more for pre owned vehicles....be it from actions or trades. It's simple supply and demand

Carvana offering more than I paid in January 2020 for my new DCSB TRD OR 4X4 AT with 4,000 miles.
    Good investment

While I was having my oil changed last week I took a walk around the lot. Surprised to see $3,000 mark ups on all Tacoma’s, even a basic sr utility. Dealer had only 6 Tacoma’s and 3 Tundras.

All of Toyota's N American operations have some sort of 1 week summer shutdown....typically in July. But they resumed production in May

My 2019 OR is now worth more than I paid for in June 2019 (according to Carvana). I never realized that vehicles were an investment!

Hope you got a good deal and were not pressured because of the low inventory.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Toyotas are like toilet paper a few months ago; no one has it so you want it that much more.

I think I got a good deal. I got mine with the Tech package, all weather mats, predator step up bars, bed lights, and trd exhaust for 42K out the door. Big two Toyota in chandler was the best car/truck experience I have had. No pressure at all.

Pro models are big $$$. Find they actually sit longer some places. When I was searching for my truck I found a few dealers in Canada that had Pros in the showroom with $59k+ prices. No wonder they are still unsold.

Yes. Pro are $60k around here but I only want a Sr5. Pro are so overpriced and most people just drive them to go shopping.

Apparently a lot of people are saying that, it's #1 on the list. This is a Tacoma forum, but there's no denying that Telluride is a bargain for it's class.

Much as I like the Pro, could never justify it for my use. I have an SR5....I found it was the best overall mix of features to $$ for me.

Sure it would be nice to do well selling it, but the only other thing I could imagine getting is a Tundra, which is just too damn much money. So, I'll hold.
