It has a 4-link system in the back, extra fuel tank it´s 35 gallons and a fulepump so you can fill the orgina tank while driving, it has a 4:88 and a front air lock, it has ranco 9000 shocs in the back and 3" light racing struts in the front, Artick trucks tires 38"x15,5" we had to change the brake system and use brake pumps from landcruser 80 and the brakedisk is built by artick trucks in Iceland ,we did this so we could use 15"x14" wheels for better flote on the snow when you let the air out, It has a lift kit about 2" only on the boddy and then the flairs and running bords,2x air pumps one for the tires and one fore the locker, KN filter, fluricent lights under the car and some lights in the front. inside is the GPS, VHF, CB, and NMT phone and I can´t remember anything else

tall thin tires work best in the mud to get down to the solid dirt. on snow like that you want to spread your weight out so you aren't resting on you frame in the who knows how deep of snow.

If your only in a feet or so of snow then your right a tall skinny is good. But there could be 10 or 20 feet of snow there? Who knows really

Like everyone else said, if you want to cut/did down to a solid surface like the road then tall and skinny is the way to go. When you'll bottom out the frame before digging to something solid you want to float on top. This the fat tires. Same thing with the front tires on a dump truck to avoid sinking into whatever they have to drive through.

Even that's not enough sometimes and they let the air out to make the tire flatten out and increase surface contact even more. Like putting on a snow shoe instead of trying to wade through deep snow with just boots on.

And dude! You're from Boston.... Don't you know what snow's like? :D

When we are driving in snow as the snow gets deeper we let the aire out of the tires down to like 4 psi, it´s amaising to be stuck and let the air out of the tires and keep on driving but when it gets real deep we go down to 1 - 2 psi at max
    [IMG]
Here we are about to go on the glacier so we start by leting the air out so we don´t get stuck as we drive in to the snow
    [IMG]
As we come down we have air pumps
