I just wanted repost this part in case anyone missed this idea. Front, back, I dunno, but that would be good for one side of this coin thing.
Now, since Im talking, can anyone explain what the purpose of these coins is?

Best idea I've heard of in awhile.

It's on par with @jberry813's metal penises.

    Because. Just simply because.

Seriously though...There's an article I linked in the OP about the history of challenge coins. Besides collecting them is the tradition of calling out members of your unit who get caught without them. They buy the drinks. Military members collect them.

Best of all, think of the jealousy that the Jeeple (Jeep people) will have when our coolness further eclipses their coolness. That alone is worth it.

Someone provided the link from the first post. Common use is this, you are at the local drinking establishment or local TW event, and someone drops their challenge coin on the bar and/or tailgate. If you have your coin with, your lay yours down as well. If you don't have your coin, you buy the drinks. They are also just collectible items. Some military/police/fire ems, or other gov't entities give them out to individuals that are deserving of them for a job well done, etc. etc.

Edit to add: I type slow and Capt. beat me to it.

"Front" of the coin. I think the 1st version of the back of the coin is set. Curious if anyone will catch what I did..

Unless you have included it on the back, do the TW theme on the front. Bob gave his initial blessing according to Capt.

I agree with this and because of that, think it would be better if it didn't have a silhouette on it. My vote would be the original "Toyoda" logo on one side:

With the new Toyota truck logo on the other side:

    images_33989a458b8a255209a8a4d0c1633ee3e7f88984.jpg

One side could have "TOYOTAWORLD.COM" or "TOYOTA WORLD" on the bottom or top like the "QUARTER DOLLAR" on a quarter coin and the other side with a blank spot for each person to have thier user name/number engraved.

Yeah, I'm having trouble embedding or linking the original logo. It's the one prior to the TEQ logo and they only made cars for 3 years under the original logo but I think it'd be cool for the history of the brand.

    Edit: There we go, fixed.
