What should I do. Its been more than a month now, and I have not received my money from TacomaWorld member. New excuses every time. I did not anticipate it would be such a hassle to get the money. It's one of those catch 22 situations. Buyer does not want to pay for it until he received the goods, or Seller does not want to ship goods until he has the money. So I send the goods on good faith and now I'm stuck.
    Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah no kidding... Unacceptable. That's how todays commerce works. You are supposed to pay for things in order to get them. You may have just gotten screwed.

    Sorry to hear man.
However, you should have known better in not sending out first. I'd only do it if I knew that person and even then. I'd question it.

Please post the person and information. . . What was the item and how much.

Or, if they really won't move on the issue, work it out so you get a percentage up front and the remainder after he receives the part. Personally, I wouldn't send anything til the money hits my bank account and is free and clear. You're the seller, if the buyer doesn't agree, they can find somewhere else to buy it.

By the way, I like the way you handled the situation. You're a new member and didn't name names when asking for advice on the situation. Definitely a nice show of respect and class.

I hope everything gets straightened out soon.

I just waited 5 days for an electronic check to clear throug pay pal before i shipped out some parts i just sold. it took a while but i kept the buyer informed and now the money has cleared and im shipping out today...

ALWAYS get money first, then ship. thats how stores do it too... you hand them money and they let you take the stuff home. not the other way around

now give us the name so we wont get scammed!

Let them know you are going to out them, and that they will be flamed mercilessly unless they fork over the dough. Hell hath no fury like angry Tacomaworld members!

Sorry to hear that dude, yeah I know you probably thought that being a member that they'd follow thru & not screw ya & that doesn't mean your naive, you are of good character, the other guy is not. I'm curious, was it a long time member or was it a newbie ?
This forum has attracted alot of new members & it seems that theres an influx of real shit bags lately, it wasn't YCPaul was it ? He was the last one I heard about here that fucked a fellow member.

TTORA guys had a fix for when this type of shit happened, the offending members real name & locale was posted & TTORA members in that region would literally pay them a visit & make them see the light if you catch my drift, extreme ? yes. Effective ? Absolutely... So you think about it & maybe contact him again or better still, he'll read this thread & understand what might be in store for his future, you DO have his real info I assume..
