Ha! BBQ... That's the loosest definition of BBQ I've ever seen! BBQ is not simply putting something on a grill (and a propane one at that)... BBQ needs fire, smoke, coals, seasonings, sauces, TIME, beer consumption, etc.

You want REAL BBQ - come down to Kansas City. THAT'S BBQ! (Bring it TX, Carolina, TN, and the like!)

Having lived in Belleview for 7 years of my life (that I'm never getting back - fuck you, Offutt), I will stick with my Texas BBQ.

No sauce required. Meat should only be flavored with MEAT!!

You lived here for 7 years and still can't spell it right?! B-E-L-L-E-V-U-E. Thought you Airmen we supposed to be of higher intelligence. :duel: But, I make NO claim there is decent BBQ in these parts. I hail from KC (KS side), and that's where it's at!

Concur with the "No Sauce Required" portion though. I like a good spicy sauce though.

Meh, I hated the place - it is no place to go through puberty in the late 70s/early 80s. Had to get bussed out to Papillion for junior high.

If you didn't have a car - your life was rough.

Mosquitoes the size of small aircraft.

Winters that took the job seriously.

Tornadoes that kept saying "hold my beer."

    Wind that never shut up.

All in the days before cable.

Guess if I was your :santa:...

I'll have to take your word for it on the late 70s/early 80s puberty stuff. I wasn't here - or alive - then...

However, I can confirm the magnitude of the blood suckers, the brutality of the winters, the epic-ness of the tornados, and the fierceness of the wind. Thank goodness for Netflix and 4WD.

You pitched it. I just had to knock it out of the park with a beautiful swing. Good ol' Ken Griffey Jr. style.
