Packages have been stolen in the past. I’ve since acquired a nice hiding spot and security system with cameras. ( :spy: )If you’re feeling nervous about sending something, you can message @RPS1030 and let him know when to expect a package so he can be on the lookout for it OR have someone grab it if we aren’t available. He will keep it a secret. He’s trustworthy.

I hate snakes and scorpions with a passion. Wish I could get rid of them for good. Also would love to spend all summer in the mountains of az, but alas I have to work. I like our Monsoon storms, but without the excessive heat.
@emelianenkov was looking at moving out here at one point. Not sure if that's in the possible cards in the future for him.

I get tired of the winter, i get tired of the summer. This year we had some long 98-104 weeks and air conditioning is not something that was really added to homes until 2000's, because we never really needed them. so needless to say, i fucking died all summer long. work in the sun, come home to a hot ass house. it was very challenging.

Just means we have three options for 2018:

    1. I quit my job. Working is overrated anyway.

    2. We plan strategically around holidays and such.

    3. We vacation a TON after November 15, 2018, when I will suddenly have two weeks of vacay to use before the end of the year.

That is one thing we have is a.c.. but it depends on how much you want you electricity bill to be dictates how comfortable your home is from May-Sept.

Well, the solar companies were having a lot of success until the power companies realized they were losing money. SRP and APS both started putting high surcharges for anyone who put solar on after a certain date to offset the cost of solar. At $100 a month for the lease from the solar company and whatever the power companies are charging as the surcharge, it's not worth it now. I know SRP started charging $50 a month for any new solar customers if they ended up using SRP power at all. Plus $20 charge just for service delivery from SRP. That's almost $175 a month. In the summer you are most likely going to need to use SRP power to offset what you don't make from the solar panels because the a.c. is working so hard. When I was married, our electric bill was at least $200 a month in the summer. We had budget pay, so that $200 a month was really $125 a month because the winter offset the cost. In the winter, our electric bill was about $60 a month because we had gas for heating and water heater.

If you mean backups, usually right after Christmas. Last year we started asking questions when we got down to the last 10 people or so without gifts and if no response from the original santa we assigned one.

I hate snakes and scorpions! I would love to move to AZ, but all my family is in New England. It's tough with a sick father. Don't want to be too far from home just in case anything happens. Plus my stepmom needs help doing house chores and improvements occasionally.
