    April?
Was a domino effect of decision making, really. The '84 plows snow like a tank, but I have to ice my clutch knee after a big storm. I banged it up in high school skiing, and the last couple of years it can't hold up to that stiff mechanical clutch for the back & forth that comes with plowing. Does fine for just driving around, just isn't happy after 20 rounds of back and forth to clean up the driveway, the back lot, and the lower lot. Plus, between the GF's 2 cars, my 3 trucks, a tractor, and a boat we've got too many vehicles in the yard. So I figured I'd downsize the fleet a bit, sell the '84 & trade the F150 for a 3/4 ton that can double as my DD and my work truck. The '84 will go on craigslist in another week or two, once I get around to cleaning up some rust on the rear fenders. I've held onto it all summer as a yard/work truck because you get a lot more money for a plow truck in November than you do in April, lol.

Nah, hemi. I don't tow much of consequence, so a diesel really would be a waste of $$ for me.

'84 is a Slant Six; they didn't offer a diesel in the W-series trucks until '89

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'm looking for a double cab 5.9 with a stick. Something big enough for safe transport of future fuck trophies, economical for daily driving, reliable, capable for hauling cars/heavy house projects, and plowing my driveway.

Problem is, they're impossible to find. And I really don't want to go new, because ouch..

And when you do find them, they're $$$ because that's what everybody wants.

"2004 Dodge Ram 2500 CUMMINS. Some rust, low mileage (350,000), interior is mint (other than a few normal rips and tears). Truck drives awesome. Needs the front suspension rebuilt.

Asking $35,000 firm, I know what I have!

Something like that. A Cummins with a stick is the 'Big 3' equivalent of a Tacoma.
