FMLA is super abused at my job. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is.

I don’t qualify for FMLA because I’m not married. Some of us don’t care about that piece of paper. Sucks.

I know you don't care about that piece of paper, but if your committed to you're hubs, you might as well just get it. It will make family related issues easier. But that's just my two cents.

This incenses me especially..similar reasons why my sis in law and her husband eventually got married even though it didn't matter to them

Hopefully you never have to deal with workers compensation, it is terrible ( at least in California), they run you all over the place for Dr.'s appt.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Alright... 3 things purchased. One should go directly to the recipient, 2 will come to the house to be shipped with a few other small things.

Kids are actually behaving while I am on my laptop. Its a Black Friday miracle.

Order placed. The site I ordered from didn’t have a gift option or space to write a note so I hope they realize their random package is from TWSS :santa::smash:

Got stuck in some black Friday action so may have gone a bit overboard, not a lot to go on so decided EDC was a solid bet

Just some reminders, since it is a giving season...
    - if you're using Amazon, point your browser to https://smile.amazon.com and pick a charity, a tiny bit of each purchase goes to a charity of your choice.
    - see if your employer matches any donations to charity. My employer will match any donations I make, up to $1000. My employer also donates $200 to a charity or non-profit of my choice per year if I volunteer throughout the year. I donated to a dog rescue that I support while I wait to get my other half to agree to a second dog...
    - some credit cards allow you to donate your rewards/cash back to a charity of your choice.
    - support small businesses when possible. While shopping for my secret santas yesterday, I found items that could be found on amazon in a small local shop. I didn't have to wait for shipping, didn't have to recycle more amazon boxes, and actually saved a few dollars.
