Picked this up today in mobile.. found a good deal on craigs list and couldn't pass it up. It's a Leer with the windoors andan already installed yakima rack. perfect for a basket later :D. It is white so I will have to paint it. I'll also be putting some sort of either spray in or roll in bed liner in the bed.

Lost track many, many mods ago.
Looks GREAT! You'll love those windoors. I miss mine from my old camper. Glad too see you finally found you one

Believe it or not, I saw that one for sale in Mobile and thought about letting you know but I wasn't sure if you wanted to drive that far or not. But once again, it looks awesome!

Looks great man glad you finally found one! I love Double Cabs with Camper shells.
They come in handy...My extended cab was without one for only 2 weeks until I picked one up.

What kind of towers did you have when you had your rack mounted on the cab? I'm looking at possibly doing a custom roof basket that stretches all the way down the truck...

I have a local ride that is suppose to be happening around that time, they just haven't put a solid date on it yet. but if not I will sure consider it. got any details?

We don't have everything set up yet, but so far we're meeting at Hooters at 11, eat, then cruise to the beach. And we're looking around for trails to ride too.

moved my gps and got a mount for my phone which now runs 'Backcountry Navigator', a topographic map system. Both are hardmounted. I also learned my old camera is absolutely terrible. sorry about that

    Nice build buddy!

I see what the 2low mod does. My question is, what is the benefit of having the 2 low mod? Not sure I understand the purpose. Thanks.

it's really just preference. Some people use it for turning in harsh conditions, some people like it for hills. I see it as most useful when pulling someone out of a ditch or something when I want to keep it in low gear with all the power still in the back, not split the power between the front and back. But it all boils down to preference really

It was a great time, but I ended up cutting my front passenger side tire pretty good on one of the night runs. I had a spare, but it was not fullsize. I lucked up when the rodeo had my exact same size tire and lug pattern for his spare (which was obviously just for looks). We never figured out what I cut it on.

That's awesome. I'd love to get a group of trucks and head out on something similar to that. Looks like it was a blast!
