well.. it's a bitter sweet day... I cut the tire and a guy heard about it so he offered me some for my rims. What he offered was a little more than what I paid originally so I took the offer. The rims will now pay for me a brand new set of tires. but they will be on stock rims unless I find some real cheap black rims

man I decided I'm just gonna go with my stock rims for now. I just don't need to spend more money right now. I'm most likely gonna go with Cragar soft 8's or if I come into money I'll just go back with the same ones I had. But that will be later

Lost track many, many mods ago.
Those tires are sick! Incredible offroad but hum like crazy on the highway.

Just my opinion but I think the truck looks better on the stock rims, so if it were me, I'd keep em!

the stocks are definitely growing on me. they kind of make me want future accessories color matched.. and I'm use to the hum now, and anyone that is offroad any can definitely deal with the hum in exchange for the offroad ability. my old tires were the destination's twin the Dayton Timberline mt. almost identical tread. so my three old tires will be spares now.

thanks guys! I have a question for both of you haha

vacountry: were you planning on running your wheel spacers again later? if not I'd like to see if we could work something out. my front wheels are rubbing frame at full lock.

yellowdog: How bad was the wind resistance on the yakima basket on your shell? did it hurt your mileage or was it real loud going down the road?

My basket is a Rola. It's smaller and not as tall as the Yakima and Thule baskets...and cheaper.
I only had the basket on there for a weekend...I will say that the basket was a little louder down the highway with the wind blowing to the side of it. I'd guess I lost about 1-2 mpg from it...That being said, I had all of my camping stuff in the back-with my AAL at the time, I was still saging.

I like the Yakima rack on top, it gives it a nice balence for me.

no kidding! that's awesome. thanks man. I'm gonna have to wait a little bit after buying the shell and the tires haha. I was just looking at your build. You won't believe this but a guy gave me some rims just like your sprayed black ones and I was gonna spray them black.. glad I didn't now or I would look exactly like your old truck.. ha

Haha. I have to get a build up for my 2002 Extended Cab! I love the manual man. Miss the Double Cab sometimes, but I also can't complain with 21 mpg in town.

Nope. No rubbing. I have the stock wheels...What you just put on. You shouldn't have any rubbing
