Whats the point of the fluid film? Is just corrosion prevention?

Now accepting monetary donations for mods!
Pretty much. Helps slow down/prevent with all the salt on the roads in the winter.

Why don't you just do a Line-X undercoat? One and done

This. Sprays on this in aerosol form and sets up into a nice thick wax form to protect the undercarriage from all of the salt and other ice melting chemicals that are sprayed liberally on the roads around here every winter.

I can't imagine how you could ever get anyone to agree to spray that stuff that way as there is a huge amount of surface prep required for those permanent bedliner materials and there really is no way to properly prep the underside of a truck for that material to properly adhere. This is cheap - about thirty bucks a truck - and easy to do yourself.

Seeing that picture reminds me that I want to figure out how to swap my chromed mirror housings for black and keep the power functions on my 77.

I plan on getting some of that black vinyl wrap so I can see what it looks like first.

I am. I tend to spend more time here as I'm still working on the Tacoma and there are more local members here than on Mud. Hope to "finish" the Tacoma next year so I can start the turbo project on the 1HZ.

Hey everybody! I've been on TW for a while but had not ideal there is a STL thread. Like everyone else mine is a work in progress. Old pictures but basically the same. I have some goodies on order but have to wait for them to build. It takes the fun out of impulse buys.

I went back a couple pages look to see what it is but couldn't find it. I was going to look more later on tonight. What time and where? or if you could point me to the post about it. I'd be up for going.
