True, but that 4' is the difference between 32's and 35's, which makes a HUGE difference when it comes to obstacles and clearance.

I used the skids on my truck to grade a bunch of a trails in Tennessee a while back. Made them nice and smooth for the tail gunner

Eh that particular incident was out at the Shamrock Shakedown. @G.T. had commented on how smooth the mud/clay was behind me because I was dragging my skids. :mudding:

I think that includes it all. The KO2’s and the black out package, predator steps, black exhaust tip.

Super steep. I wouldn’t pay anywhere close to that for that truck. Plus for the 7k you could get a lift. Tires. And gears/locker from a good Offroad shop. Much better allocation of money

There is a stock Isuzu in this video that is rock solid among the other Ute's. You own a very good example of a well tuned vehicle that is not jacked to the moon.

The reason you don’t see high end suspensions too often in Australia is that the desired components are nearly all sourced from the States and come at a very high price, plus import duty and plus general sales tax. Figure on average nearly three times the price you get it for in the United States.

Due to many restrictive laws the modified vehicle then has to be “engineered” to be classified as road legal. Again, another very expensive process that helps ensure that the center of gravity - amongst other things - are still in what is considered safe levels. Then there are the different laws in different territories. Something legal in one is illegal in another and around and around. No offshore rod holders in QLD, all the rod holders you want in SA.

These are the reasons you don’t see allot of modifications on street legal cars, it costs too damn much. This is also the reason that people are regularly breaking their cars when they flog them off road and even on long corrugated tracks. My mate Dani has heaps of time and money into her LandCruiser and has spent a quarter of that in engineering fees alone.

We want all the farkle, we just can’t fuckin’ afford it.
