I'll be hitting you up in a few months for help with that. Unless it's as simple as they say.

Thanks for the advice @MO Tacoma @G.T. and @Sacrifice .
And you're right @VangaSTL that's how I felt about them too.
From what you all said, including g.t. with the trails at Barnwell I'll go for those sliders. If I'm okay down there and our missouri park trails I'll be happy. Skids will happen within this next year. But I needed to figure out something by the jamboree.

And I run trails slow and steady. I won't go full force until this truck is like 6+ years old or I have a dedicated rig, lol. I need to pay it off before I trash it, haha.

Next weekend I'll be putting on my BAMF recessed grill. That should only take an hour. Next mod Day I have those hood struts I want to put on, the stainless steel brake lines, ARB differential breather, and might have a pop&lock too

I solder and shrink wrap all my connections so if you need help with that just hit me up. I'll teach you how to solder but won't do it for you. Soldering is a good skill to know how to do

@RedDead & @VangaSTL I just ordered new radio knobs. Our 3rd gen one's are annoying as hell. I've probably accidentally called my friend with them 5x now.

Hondogarage has knob replacements with a tacomaworld discount "5rolledtacos".

They also have a nice vent mount for your phone that fits both 3rd and 2nd gen tacos if you're interested.

Do we have different radios? I don't find my knows all that annoying and I hardly even use them. Everything I control through either touch screen or steering wheel buttons

I turn my music up/down quicker with it rather than the steering wheel.

We should have the same entune radio. I think both our trims are at the same level unless you bought the premium aound.

I have it set up with the 3 cells. Radio, 4 quick dial calls, and navigation. So when I turn the knob up and down real quick I have to be careful or my knuckle will call someone. And they're kind of slippery in a way with the slick plastic.

Ive been looking at his vent mount I'm still on the fence though.

as far as accidental screen touches...i found that turning down the sensitivity of the touch screen helps. my past 3 vehicles have had steering wheel controls but for some weird reason its always natural to just reach for the radio

Steering wheel controls + Apple CarPlay for the win. Happy New Year all, hoping for a great year for all filled with trouble free wheeling and many smiles per gallon. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Went very well. Easy Peasy. Took about 2.5 hours but that was with a lot of bull shifting with Mike. Probably could've done it in an hour. I made 1 mistake on my truck and broke a clip but I know what I did wrong so that it won't happen again when I do yours or Mike's

If anybody needs to get something done on their truck I can host a mod day this weekend. I don't have the room that GT does(awesome setup) but I have all the tools and it's heated. Forecast is low 20s for a high. Let me know if anyone is interested.
