    January 21st at my shop.

I'm actually looking for some help with my truck this time as I have a few things that I'd like to get sorted out. If we could get any of these done I'd be grateful as the nerve damage in my arm is worse when it's cold.

    • Install heated mirrors wiring. Mirrors and heating elements already installed.
    • Remove MOLLE panel so some adhesive can be sprayed on it and a sheet of female velcro - the loop side - can be glued to it.
    • Check driveshaft carrier bearing to see if it needs replacing.
    • Finish my "last project of 2016."
    • Help sort out the best way to install HAM radio and components, see if I need to order anything else.
    • Drink some of the beer in the shop fridge.

@ChandlerDOOM, what was that spray on adhesive that you recomended?

I want to say I'll be at this one, but I had to back out of the last two. So I'm tentative for this.

@G.T. Got a friend that might be coming down from peoria, he finally pulled the trigger on a lift so he wants to get that installed. I don't really have anything to get done so ill probably just help him tackle the lift

I'm actually really happy you bought this. I have that Bilstein setup and I am super curious to see how the 5160s match up with that leaf pack.

@G.T. all I'm gonna have to do is those hood struts. Don't think I'll have my front brake lines done in time.

Weird my 5160s came with mounts to mount to the frame. You had to order yours seperately?

Probably ordered the clamps separate, the frame ones usually come with but not the clamps to mount on the shock body

Yes the clamps come with the package to mount to the frame another member offered me the billet clamps to mount it to the shock body so I will have both options whichever looks and functions best the 5160s originally came with both clamps but that has changed I heard

Would either of you mind bringing your soldering iron, Ive tried my luck once in the past but my iron was cheap and started melting and died so I didn't learn much.

But I would really like to learn how to use one if either of you are willing to show me how
