    This is my mate offering it up. I vouch for him being stand up. He’s asking for $1,500 cash or, a brand new in the box Dometic fridge. I sent a text to his phone to see which fridge he’s keen about and waiting for his answer.

    @mcharfauros what front bumper do you have these days?

    @Tacomania ?

    Any disadvantages to the hybrid bumpers (sos and mobtown look good) vs full on plate bumpers? Would be nice to save some weight if it doesn't compromise too much.

    I like the look and weight of the hybrid style ones out there, but definitely benefited from the full plate one I have on the truck. The one in my truck is a mobtown plate version with no hoops. @Tacomania has the old Pelfreybilt with the center hoop and brace.

    Ah okay good to know. So full plate has saved some damage?
    Every feel like the hoops would help too?

    Looking at the hybrids I worry if you hit a rock or a limb just right it can cause more damage.

    I can’t speak to how the hybrid types handle out there in the wild, I know a few guys here have em. However I can say with certainty, that my particular plate bumper has done its job. As for the hoops, I dig em, definitely see the benefits of having them, in my case I just jumped in buying mine at the time since it was ready to ship at a decent price. Adding on the hoops was an option at the time, I was just impatient and wanted it as soon as I could get it considering the builders lead times

    If you're looking for weight savings, you'll want an aluminum bumper. The issue with aluminum bumpers is obviously strength and cost.

    interestingly enough, when you look at a manufacturer and they offer both full plate and hybrid bumpers, the weight isn't actually different by much at all.

    Steel was definitely on the go to list of specs.

    I'm not sure when I need to keep an eye out in overbearing the suspension. Have steel front, mid plates and sliders. Then adding that bumper?

    Still running on the billstein 1500s, 883 coils and ome leaf pack i bought off @mcharfauros

    your skids and sliders, while heavy, really shouldn't be dragging your suspension down. The bumper puts a lot of leverage past your front axle so that's about when you want to start thinking about a slightly stiffer coil. Just ask @Sasquatch3153
