I'm getting ready to do that just to see where everything is lining up. I really want to get that front u bracket to work. They market these as a bolt on with no drilling. That's what I paid extra for. Part and shipping. If I could see the hole but it was a little off, it be ok with that.

Not yet. Came back down to Rolla for school. My plan is to come back the weekend of Easter Sunday and get them all refurbished then the following weekend come back again and get them installed. I'm still trying to figure out if its possible to swap in some new bushings while I have everything apart for sanding and paint.

I'm disappointed that I've gotten zero response from Relentless Fabrication. I've called and they gave been tagged on TW.

 

I'd be down for going. Fortunately/unfortunately my son has a track meet on Saturday.

 

This weekend? Still undecided, trying to get the wife down to the ozarks but she won't know until last minute and if that fails I planned on getting over to test ride the new desert sled before it's sold or possibly sold to myself. But the following weekend I was thinking land between the lakes since it's a 3 day weekend for myself but that depends if I'm still here next week for work, I'll be heading down Thursday night if I go until Saturday evening or Sunday morning depending on the mood

 

Copy, snuck out and got another top coat on the swing outs today and figure that if I can get out there Thursday as well I can give them one more if needed and start getting them mounted on Friday.

 

Anyone have an MGM 3rd gen TRD OR, SR, SR5, or LTD that is looking for a scooped hood? A guy from Pekin, IL just posted in the 3rd gen hood swap thread that he's looking for a flat hood.

 

Just ordered my Energy Suspension leaf spring bushings. Spring refurbishment will commence this weekend!

 

Are those bushings something special than the rest?

 

Poly, longer lasting, usually have grease slots in the bushing

 

Eventually I'll buy their whole Tacoma kit and replace all of the factory bushings.

 

I was thinking about radiator bushings at the same time but Ill save that and body mounts for another day.

 

I just figure that I can save a few bucks and get them all for a little bit of savings and then just get them in at my convenience.

 

I remember reading about a bunch of you guys getting together to do the ecgs bearing swap, any of you have the puller available for rent? Definitely replacing mine within a week.
