Allegedly, when I still had my learners permit, on a rainy day I was practicing sliding on backroads. Well, where trees overlapped it created a dry spot which I hit mid slide breaking said slide. Being inexperienced I panicked, stomped and held the brakes in a no abs Mazda b4000. Bee-lined it for what I thought was a ditch. We just redid the whole front end so it flashed through my mind that I was going to ruin all those new parts. Well...it wasn't a ditch but rather a 15 foot drop. Holding the brakes the whole way to the drop slowed us down enough so that rather than shooting off we just kind of tumbled off. Aforementioned crunching sounds combined with McDonalds Powerade and quarters flying around we ended up resting against a tree. My dad was hanging above me in his seatbelt. He looked down and asked if I was alright. I said yes and asked if he was and he said yes. He used the steering wheel as a step and held the door open for me. I proceeded to make the call to my mom that I rolled the truck and she got so pissed when I said it was kinda fun  Ended up using two trucks hooked up in tandem to get it back up the hill.

As for the Frontier. These gas prices are making me do some thinking......

Also, they are great little trucks. It actually still ran after that. Brought it home and put a cherry picker in the cab and popped the roof back out enough that it would accept a windshield. It wasn't wind nor water tight but it kept trucking along until we gave it to someone I worked with. I miss having a tough vehicle that I couldn't care less about.

Was the B4000 before they basically it turned it into a ranger?

    I did not know this.

A ranger, but Mazda bodywork still. The 3rd "gen" (Ranger gens actually make no sense) is just a badged ranger with tiny body tweaks. Weak.

Yeah, my Aunt just made a trip down to Florida to see her daughter and she spent over $1000 on gas. She drives a 2015 highlander.

Yeah.. I’m figuring $1200 at least round trip to Utah and back.. and that’s probably light honestly

I loathe commercial air travel but just recently flew down there because it was half the price of fuel round-trip...

If a highlander was a $1000 from WisCANsin to Florida and back....I feel nervous for you.
