    Today on "stupid things that happened"

    DOT running emergency call outs for fallen trees that are too big for the fire dept. Municipal cop gets smart and pulls me over (Maplewood). Doesn't give a rats ass that I'm running a call, or that I'm a county DOT operator, or that the Melville Fire Dept is getting pissed off waiting on us (we don't have 24/7 stay over like they do, so it takes time to get operators to the equipment etc).

    So I get my lovely ticket. And because of the way Maplewoods predatory ordinances are worded, 11 over is ticketed as 15 over. Etc.

    Oh... And because of new county ordinances, because tomorrow is a paid holiday and we aren't physically there..... No OT for today's buttfuckery.

    Tldr: I get to pay money for the privilege of working on my day off.







    Fuck. This. Noise.
