Coming along, replacing the pitman arm, 6 shooter arm knuckles and the drag link/ tie rod ends, going back to fj80 set up. The 7/8 heim set up is not going to work without everything collapsing on each other. Bigger and stronger is a no go.

Then it will be ready for a shakedown.

I got deavers on mine, H70s. Probably should've followed trekker's advice and got the HD pack though. Especially now that I'm considering towing a tiny camper around.

What is the problem with the heims? 7/8 is too weak and bigger won’t fit? Also forget if you are hydro assist or just a box.

The pitman arm is too long. If the truck was to flex the drag link and tie rod would smash. 7/8 is not weak, just too big. I found a shorter and a straight pitman from sky's offroad.

    Hydro assist yes

Gng to have the heims for sale:typing:

I wouldn't say they suck... I would say that they were putting me into positions and spots that on the setup I had at the time I had no business being in. I mean... I didn't die so I guess it was just fine

Tire sale going on at Twin City right now. We can get you set up with some 32s or even 33s if you really want

Dammit, gonna have to catch the next sale and let the wallet heal for now after the suspension purchase haha. I’m also undecided on tires. I know I want Falken Wildpeaks or BFG KO2s but not sure what size I want. At a minimum I want to go up one size from stock with 31s (265/75/16) because it’s the safe size and I don’t have to worry about fitment. There’s another part of me that would like to see what 33s pizza cutters are like 255/85/16, but then I’d probably have to re-gear and maybe trim a little and that’s not something I’m really willing to do at this moment in time with my truck. I’ll have to read up on 32s, maybe they’re the happy medium?
