Yes, quite often actually. There are a good amount of us that are close friends outside of wheeling. A solid 20 of us from Mo4wd keep in touch and hang out regularly. As stated many times, Mo4wd has monthly group meetings where everyone is welcome and it's both hanging out and trip planning.

Let me know if you'd like to do the carrier bearing next week sometime. I should be back to STL mid week and could meet ya and help ya out. I need to do the same to the Ford and wouldn't mind helping you out just to get a feel for what type of job it is.

Looks like a few people are planning to turn up this Saturday at the shop around back. I can be available again the following weekend but not the one after that - 26th - as I promised to support a friend at an outdoor days event in St. Charles, MO.

I'm grateful for all of the assistance as my arm is getting worse and the doctors are fiddling with my meds again and I feel more exhausted now than I've ever been. Blood work is showing positive results so hoping to get back to three dialysis sessions per week full time again.

Sounds good. I'll be in Oklahoma this weekend but will touch base with you next week when I get back and if you still need to get some work done we can set up a time and day to knock it out.

Mo4wd meetings? on the mo4wd Facebook page is the easiest to keep up on the meeting dates under the events tab, Its always at the same restaurant.

Far as everything else goes this thread right here is where you get your info, I usually post up if I am going somewhere and same with everyone else.

This weekend it sounds like a handful of people will be over at GTs, ill probably be later since I have to work in the morning and run to the bank afterwards

hey guys! i haven't been active at all on TW. i have a question hopefully one of y'all can answer. i hate the endless searching on here just to find a tiny bit of the info i need. so, I'm currently outside of the US until around february or march of 2018. i have a LT kit and 35s sitting at my house waiting to be put on as soon as i get home. from what I've read i should put new gears in. my question is, is it just a matter of buying the gears and putting them in? or are there other things i need to buy or do before i can put them in? also are there any shops in the area y'all recommend to do this kind of work?

    First, welcome to TacomaWorld.

The kit can easily be installed by the folks that hang out here in this thread at one of our mod day events that I host at my place near Scott AFB. These are free events that allow us to not only socialize, but to help each other get work done while using each project as a teaching experience for those that want to learn how do be able to do it themselves. If you do get back to the region in February don't worry as the shop is enclosed and heated.

When I did the gear swap I also bought lockers and ECGS offered a built front clamshell that was a simple direct swap. The locker and rings for the rear diff needed a little bit of extra attention that I didn't feel comfortable with so I hired Austin Wolf of www.wolf-fab.com in Freeburg, IL to handle all of the gears and lockers install. He's helped me allot and I'm certain that you will get others in this thread to recommend him as well as he's rapidly becoming our go to guy for welding and off-road fabrication related service.

Im glad to see how close you are. I'm only about 15 minutes away from scott. What company do you recommend buying the gears from? I will try to keep in touch on here as often as I can. especially as it gets closer to me coming home. Im so excited to get these parts onto my truck and learn how, and hopefully make new friends i can wheel with!

East coast gear supply hands down. It's near impossible for other people to compete with what they offer. I broke my 3rd and had a new one to me within a couple of days and all I had to pay was $28 to ship my third to them

I used East Coast Gear Supply and feel confident that I got excellent quality parts, and fair pricing too. If you intend to add lockers - I went with ARB air lockers - sign up for the locker manufacturers mailing list on their website as many of them do specials around late winter / early spring that include some great deals. ARB has been known to throw in air compressors and other kit at that time. I got the mid-sized air compressor from them that way.

That's what you get for being nice.

I'm working on getting my cable setup all finalized right now. Windows Media Center is not cooperating right now.

Well I have some good news and some bad news.

    Bad News:
The TAC Treasurer and I sat down and went over the numbers from last years event and determined that our fixed costs for the event are actually $35 rather than the $25 that the TAC President and I had come up with while the Treasurer was out of town. Extra meals will remain the same at $10 each.

    Good News:
The $35 registration fee for Fall Crawl 2017 is cheaper than the $50 registration fee that we had charged last year for the event with T-shirt for the driver.

    More Good News:
Our web hosting service has surfaced and the TAC website is back. I will be working on getting the registration page for this years event up this week and I will post a link when registration is up and running.

    Best News:
I am making contact with several new sponsors and our Raffle will be stocked with many more valuable prizes than the Habor Freight merchandise that was the predomiate theme at last years Fall Crawl.

Therefore, make sure you bring some cash for raffle tickets which are only $1 each. Sneak peek will be coming soon thanks to the following sponsors:
    Molle Toyota
    Olathe Toyota
    Adams Toyota
    4WheelParts
    The Overland Shop
    Adventure Motors
Please thank these businesses for their support and as I get confirmation from other sponsors I will let you know.

Wife is the second oldest of thirteen of which ten are girls. They share stuff all the time and even though I've explained the limitations to her she still gives the login details away. Another problem I have with it is the biggest offender is always the one in the 4,800 square foot home with designer everything. But I digress.

I used to use WMC but gave up on it eventually. Now I use one media server and at every television I have an AppleTV with Plex. Allot less hardware to fiddle with and no more concerns about someone interacting with a windows pop up incorrectly sending the whole works into a spiral. I really liked WMC on Windows 7 and I think that it helped lead the way for the AppleTV.
