Glad you made your way over to the thread. You just missed the MO4wd stocker no locker event a couple weeks back. As you may have just read our good buddy @G.T. is kind enough to host mod day once a month as he is available.

Sweet appreciate it! Wait, why did you switch out in the first place?

Preventative maintenance thing. They’ve got almost 80,000 on them.

It will be really funny if I do have to replace considering I barely have 70k miles on my truck lol.

That is a pretty cool thing to do. I won't be able to make it over tomorrow but maybe in the coming months after I have time gather parts for some mods that I want to do. Thanks for the invite!

Any of you guys have experience installing mobtown bolt on sliders? I finally finished prep and paint, but they came with a bunch of other clamps and braces unique to mobtown sliders.

Are there any instructions to identify all of the extra pieces and their installed locations?

@G.T. zero instructions, however I just got a message back from Joe at mobtown, he said there’s a PDF on their website. Thanks

Thanks! I've been traveling a lot for work and haven't gotten around to further diagnosis. It's a 2003 with a 3.4. The internal temp gauge is not where it should be, fans don't come on and even after driving for 30 minutes, the radiator cap is cool to the touch. I can take off the cap after the drive with no issues. I bought this a few months ago so I don't know the history. It is dexicool, not sure if it's sludge build up from someone putting in a different kind. Who knows. I might go get it power flushed just for fun and see if it changes anything.

Those are all "washers" for the inside of the frame. A lot of the holes are oval or large. The long things with the nut welded to them are for the front. It's where the frame is boxed in and it would be extremely difficult without them. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

@MO Tacoma thanks for the heads up, I printed out the PDF file off of mobtown’s site, still pretty vague. Any chance you heading to mod day over at @G.T. ’s shop?

What he said, and thanks a bunch for all your help, idk that I could’ve done it without it. And the sway bar delete was a good suggestion, love it.

Watching a 1st gen Ridgeline pulling a ram 2500 on a tow strap made my day. @G.T. have fun switching to dodge if you do.

When I finally get back to my laptop I'll upload those GPS files for y'all.

Was great meeting you and seeing your progress on your truck. Thing is going to be a Moster when you’re done.

Was a pleasure even though we just mostly pointed at things over your shoulder.

I’ll leave the tow strap tug o’ war to the mental midgets every one I’ve seen isn’t the display of power that people expect, but a simple display of traction.

Had a good time Saturday, awesome meeting you all! I didn’t mean for the mobtown sliders to be a time consuming event. Thanks again for all your help, looking forward to the next mod day! @G.T. @HIYota @VangaSTL @MO Tacoma

I had fun figuring that stuff out. At least after finishing the driver side it probably only took like 30 mins for the passenger side. It’s a pretty ingenious setup.

Yeah after seeing those mobtown sliders, I really liked the design and probably will go with those myself. Good choice!

I understand it's easy for the ridgline to do it. Hell even a camry has pulled a big ol dually dodge.
I'm simply just playing into the brand/reputation thing.
