Nah, I think it'll look good. Our rear setup will be exactly the same, but My eibachs are giving a little more lift up front than that. At first I thought they had started to sag because I began to rub the front valence again. Then I remembered I had gotten an alignment

Yea you have Eibachs, no bumper, no winch, no skids. So your rake won't be that bad.

still have rake no doubt. be closer to mine before i put a bumper on it..so should be sick.

im close to that much now though. About 2'' rake due to my front end sagging a bit.

Yeah, I want to measure my lift again just to see how much lower the rear really is sitting.

Should get the bumper around the same time frame as the leafs and shocks if everything goes as planned. So you may get to see my truck with it on! :D

Yeah, you and Silas. The only two to sag Eibachs haha

nice. I have seen one before on Tony's truck. Really close to the same. just slight differences.

well..in my defense..the last trip i went was was hard on them..and they ahve had a hard life..plus i have plate bumper, winch, big skid, and dual batteries..

so they are carrying a LOT haha

mine aren't near as bad as Sila's though..

After seeing the headlight hoops, I'm stoked haha

True, I'm kind of slowly copying the basic things you've done with all of the accessories. Just a little slower haha

What coils are going to have to end up going with?

I usually don't either, but after seeing them I fell in love! Haha

Yeah, I keep trying to plan out what I want to do. But I end up just changing my mind... Haha

Okay, I was trying to figure out what I should go with for the future. I think I may go 650lb, just a little less than you.

650 is pretty standard for more coilovers from Fox,SAW, King, Icon.

Either way..coils wear out..and always need replace. How you use them and the weight you have on them will determine thier life.

I know Mike has 650s on his SAWs and they have served him very well for a long time. Starting to sag though and i know he wants 700 next round..

often getting a longer coil helps too. think some coil overs come with as little as a 13'' coil. Requires a lot of preload. i haven't looked into it a lot..but i know 14s can fit..not sure if 15s or 16s can..16s come on most 2.5x8 coilovers. so kinda doubt 16s do. but longer coils require less preload and ulitmatly a smoother ride.

but thats a bit off topic..

Tony also put in 700s over his 600s that came with his foxes. mostly cause he didn't wanna run swaybarless without a stiffer coil..took me years to get him to remove the damn thing..had mid travel for like 3 months before he finally removed it..haha

that hoop looks ok. Still not my cup of tea..but not bad. do serve a good purpose too.

Hmm, true. Very good insight on the weight/length differences. May just do 700lb coils. Maybe even 18" like you haha

Yeah, I hope the headlight hoops look as good in person...

Forgot you're going long travel.... I'll just ask what the longest length they offer whenever I get coilovers.

Reg cabs are the best ;)

Actually looking for a late 80s to early 90s Hilux for a project. This one's my only vehicle so I can't be tearing into it daily like I want to. They're not easy to find around here in decent condition though.

Monte, should be picking up my leafs, shackles and brake line tomorrow...

Now I just have to wait for Demello to start his sale and I'll be ordering the shocks...

Unless you think we could install them alongside my 5100's as long as it's just driving normal and no flexing at all until I get the new shocks in?

For 4.5-5" of lift I wouldn't even bother haha I'd wait for shocks.
