    Yeah.
Which one did you put in your cart? I would recommend the Wilson Little Wil. Some of the other cheap brands have terrible magnets.

Would anyone be interested in some stock diffs with 4.10’s in them, I ordered new ones from ecgs. If I can get $800 for them it’d be better than taking the shipping hit for the core returns

    Yeah.
No doubt, almost bought CR bed stiffeners because they were some of the cheapest, but something didn't feel right. Spent a bit more for Total Chaos, but happy I did. What is interesting that people seem to have missed is that CR has owned that domain since 2016.

    Is this true?

For 3rd gen owners when you guys change from automatic to manual shifting does it always go in to fourth gear? The dealership is saying its normal, i am having a hard time believing it.

Yes that's normal. Even if your going downhill, coasting in 6th gear. It will default to 4th when you move over. I read an explanation at somepoint. Something like if in an uncontrolled down hill descent you can quickly move it over to manual and instead of waiting for the truck to catch up to you shifting it down it will just immediately go into 4th to help engine brake. Same thing for going uphill. They figured if your moving to manual might as well default it to 4th gear. Of course the explanation may have all been BS. I don't really know. I rarely move it into manual anyway

    Yeah.
I've only used it when doing forest roads in the Ozarks, so I didn't really notice it doing that since I wasn't going super fast at the time. It's actually really nice when you get used to it, slightly easier than doing the same in the 2nd gen. When the going gets steep going downhill, it's pretty much a necessity, although it didn't do too bad shifting on its own.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Yea doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t really use that feature much on my wife’s 4runner but I don’t remember it only activating only in 4th gear.
