Proud Papa today. My son officially completed all of the required tasks to earn his Bear Scout badge.



Going to the scout camp last weekend has not just stoked the fire in him to get these things done, it’s ignited a volcano. He’s off of school today through Sunday and is constantly in his scout handbook looking for other fun stuff to complete.

I've never looked into them myself. But if I remember correctly, from word of mouth, that brand likes to wear down quickly. Get yourself some St Maxx's!

Got the starter in. got the interior cleaned and put back in. found this today...





Steve had pointed it out to me on a previous mod day, but now its worse. I contacted All-pro to try and work something out before I touch it. If yall know of a cheap-ish way to fix it let me know!

 

Wouldn’t be expensive by any means but would take a little work. Take the old strap off and weld a new one on. 1/4” flat stock couldn’t be more than $5 and just heat and hammer it around the leaf pack

New to me. I assume it’s a combination gas tank and tool carrier?

 

It is. Google “Blitz Fuel & Tool.” It’s perfect for carrying a spare chain, sharpener, and tools for the chainsaw in the white tool box and your pre-mix in the fuel can. They are steel and many times the cap threads are messed up and the cap gasket is mission or ruined.

 

Cleaning the truck today....Noticed a couple rock chips on the paint above the windshield. They've allowed some rust. Anything I should do to prep that before adding some touch up paint? Don't want it to just bubble up later.

 

Pulled the trigger and picked up @ChandlerDOOM old RTT. Thanks for the awesome deal! Now to think about building a bed rack. Any tips/suggestions or offers to help would be appreciated.

 

@VangaSTL Congrats Brotha! Good stuff, looks like you beat me to it, still hella stoked for you! As far as the bed rack, don't build one, just buy mine!
This is a one off custom rack, mounts to the bed via OEM bed bolts.

 

If you dont buy his rack. I'm real happy with my voodoo bars. Let's you keep your cover and mpg's

 

Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for something more low profile so that I can still pull into the garage. How much are you asking?
