From Panama City to Scott, in January.

Fluid film the bottom of your cars before you get here. There’s more salt on the roads than there is driving on the beach it seems.

So one of my bolts on my stock skid has stripped something. Keeps turning in place and cant get it out. My brother tried helping and said something about the nut being loose of a tack weld. Is this something we can take care of at mod day? Need to get it out and fixed to place the new steel skids.

I'll be bringing my solder iron on Sunday if anyone needs any electrical done. I can't stay long because my parents are coming back from FL. Also hoping to re-grease my suspension and stop that horrid squeek

Thanks, we're going to stay on base for a little bit, until we figure out where we want to be. Too much to deal with right now, looking for a house and all, while still trying to get everything in order after Michael ripped through here.

Fluid film? I'm not sure what that is

We're shopping for winter clothes... doesn't get cold in PC much, so we're definitely struggling to find stuff. Gonna be ordering a bunch from Amazon it seems.

Fluid Film is a corrosion inhibitor that’s lanolin based. Sprays on thin like an aerosol but sets up thick and waxy to keep rust away from winter brine muses that road crews spray or spread onto the roads.

Like others have said, let us know if you need anything. A few of us are either at Scott or right down the road.

I suggest a 3n1 type winter jacket would do you well here. Doesnt get super cold often enough to get warmer and there's days itll be 30* out in the morning and 70 by lunch. Nice to have built in layers. Walmarts cheap puffer jackets are surprisingly warm too. My work jacket was $19 and keeps me toasty.

That was her driving the LandCruiser since it’s the only car left that she can manage to climb up into lately. I offered her the keys to the Tacoma and she just laughed. Really need to find her something soon before the January weather kicks in.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want her in another 4Runner after seeing how much abuse that thing took. I really like that robins egg blue - is that what you’re talking about? - but time will tell as I haven’t sorted out all the 2019 options yet.

There's the Cavalry Blue from last year like on my Pro, but '19s in Tacomas get the Voodoo Blue and Cavalry is now available on non-Pros. Voodoo is much brighter. Not sure about the 4Runner, but I saw a Cavalry Blue 4Runner Pro at the store, not sure what year though. I really like my wife's Limited, but color choices are kinda meh and it's pretty much a street machine with the tires and wheels they put on it. I like the center diff for her, though, since she wouldn't know when to use 4WD -- or more importantly, when NOT to.
