Thanks got some tail lights on the way, I’ll probably pull the bedsides to beat some of the dents out. I’ve had pinstripes since day 1 so I’m not so worried about the scratches.

We’ve got a spare tailgate here that is red with black plasti-dip or bed liner on the rear facing side. If yours can’t be banged out let me know and we can sort something out to get you sorted.

Much appreciated, only big headache I foresee is getting the mount for push post aligned enough to get a light in there again.

Made the early registration deadline for the Shamrock Shakedown. Gonna meet up with my baby brother and his boys down in Winrock. Looks like I got two months to get the truck ready to tackle Tennessee’s trails. Anyone else down to make the trip?

Where do you register? I've never been to win rock park and you guys are a bit more hardcore than I am. Are there trails there for me?

There are trails that a 1974 Ford Taurus can safely drive on. Over 300 miles of trails in Windrock alone. If Moonlight is the only off-road park you’ve been too and you love it, once you wheel at Windrock you’ll want to move to Knoxville so you can be there all the time. It’s that much better, that I’ve added the region to the list of places I’d consider retiring to.

Ok I'm gonna sign up if it's okay to tag along with you guys. Gonna have to show me the ropes of the whole camping thing though. It's been every bit of 12 years. I ordered sliders so hopefully I get them in time. Itll be close

Don’t go crazy on camping kit that you don’t already have. I’ll be towing the trailer down to be our base camp again so we’ll have ample prep and cooking surfaces as well as potable water.

Hell Yeah! :bananadance: Pretty stoked, to see the trailer fully deployed. @G.T. I understand the camping game has changed in recent years, pretty sure we could handle it. I think my field rotations could be considered rougher. At the end of the day I'm just looking forward to wheeling a new area with my baby bro and friends.

Just don’t got “full overlander” and buy a bunch of farkle. If you take your coffee a very specific way then maybe sort that out but you already have a RTT and something to stash some trail drinks and snacks in so I reckon you’ll be grand.

Imagine having a private water buffalo, and mess tent that you only share with about eight to ten people. Plenty of lights and charge ports for mobile devices and camera batteries. Now add the fact that you aren’t having to babysit a bunch of idiots and we can go out and hit trails whenever we want.

A couple of area locals that are great friends of ours will be there camping and wheeling with us and they know the park and it’s best trails and are always down to wheel pretty much any hour of the day.

Picture this, over 72,000 acres of beautiful Appalachian mountain terrain - the oldest mountain range on the planet - with over 300 miles of trails. Scenic views everywhere you look and the property is surrounded on one side with a massive wildlife reserve and the other with heaps of our nations history with Knoxville and Oak Ridge to the south and south east.

Since I don’t have the time to go out west to Utah to play this is my playground. Awesome people every time I’ve been there and a mix of scenic fire roads all the way to hardcore rock crawler trails and everything you can imagine in between.

Brett runs the ATR event and Evan runs the Shamrock and both are enthusiastic wheelers and great people. I’ve wheeled with both and had a great time.

Sounds like a killer time, in a great area, with some great folks. Count me in! Definitely down to check out the local scene and surrounding cities as well. Gonna make it a point to get the truck ready for the trek to Tennessee, down to help out getting your rig ready too

At this point I’d just be happy to have a working stereo and the front right coil reseated.

That shamrock shakedown sounds tempting. I need to save up this year though. I'm going to budget myself one out of state wheeling trip. Brad's headed off to Utah, either that or do the Appalachian round up this year.

    Y'all speaking my language now.

Though I believe the Ozarks are actually older than the Appalachians. But who's counting?
