Sorry I've been absent lately. For those of you going to Lost Creek. Make sure to stay on the road. There are a couple places where its easy to "explore" up the creek but if you get caught they will issue you a very heavy fine. I would join you but I have a lot of stuff I need to do to my truck before TN.

Talking about Shamrock, I'll be bring trail snacks, along with bread and deli meat to make sandwiches in the cooler. I don't have a fridge, only a K2 cooler so the amount of refridgerated items I can bring are limited and I don't know how long they will stay fresh being in a cooler. I doubt my deli meat will safe to eat by the end of the trip. Seeing as this is the first time I've been camping, let me know if there is anything I can do or bring to help with meals. eggs/bacon/etc. I'm going shopping this weekend along with the rest of laundry list of things to do.

I finally heard back from Joe at mobtown and he does not have room for my sliders in his trailer so it looks like I'll be doing this without sliders. For that reason I will probably just do my own thing on the trails. I do not want to hold you guys up and be "that guy" to keep you from doing the trails you guys really want to do. I'm sure I'll be able to find something to do without worrying about denting the shit out of my doors.

    Boiled eggs are good snacks.

You’ll be fine, some blue trails are going to be blacks this time due to the rain so we may be taking a pass on a few.

For pick up groups just swing by the pavilion in the morning and hook up with some other similarly equipped folks and go have fun.

Both sides of the road are private property.

Yeah keep in mind that road is a public road and there are people that live off that road. I accidentally found myself on someone's property out there thinking it was another public road and got slapped with a 2nd degree trespassing ticket so just be careful. and stick to the road. remember the motto "tread lightly." Last time I was out there some Jeep groups tore the shit out of it and its groups like that that force the county to pave these dirt roads. There aren't many dirt roads left out there so try not to tear stuff up and give the homeowners out there another reason to ruin the fun for the rest of us.

And yeah this monday will be 10 weeks that I've been waiting for sliders. Really bummed I won't have them for this event but I guess it is what it is.

I've been keeping an eye on the weather for Oliver Springs. Looks like the rain isn't going to let up. also looks like saturday night will be the coldest. So be prepared. I got some propane bottles and tested out my Mr. Heater last night.

I've got 8 radios and a multi charger that I'll be bringing. These radios do cost about $450 a piece so I ask that you dont use them as a hammer or a weapon. TIA

Get the scabs really good as that’s what will be touching your frame. Harmonic vibration sucks.
