Well I went and got myself a Father’s Day present lol looked for 2 weeks and found this one in Ohio with 80k on it. 6 hour drive in it was less than stellar because Indiana’s highways seem to have been shelled by artillery.

Personally, I use 3M Adhesive Remover. Spray it on, wipe off with a microfiber. Just gotta add wax after.

 

i went to Lowe's today and bot some Goof Off, so far it its working. buts gonna take multiple apps with a Q-tip for the crevice and repeat
must avoid the VIN tags!!!
rails are looking black as i have never seen (or remember seeing)
wax the engine compartment rails?

 

Sorry, I know that 3M Adhesive Remover will take wax off, so I always make it a point to mention that.

Since it's in your engine compartment, I wouldn't worry about waxing the rails.
