Depends on if it’s covered under warranty or not.

Some do, some don’t care. I’ve found that St. Louis labor rates aren’t the worst but they are up there.

I knew Rich knew of the place...I was thinking it was a gas station but couldn’t remember any of the particulars. 10 sounds good to me too.

My mileage at Pappas, it’s dependent. They’re pretty fair on usual stuff, like oil change/tire rotation. Anything outside of that, any auto shop that I’ve been to for work will beat their prices by a mile. I’d say that’s pretty typical for dealership fair though.

labor rates aside ($129/hour here), i would like for a supposed professional Toyota 'expert' to know exactly what the situation is and the proper preventative maintenance plan!
the 3 local dealers here are either clueless and ignorant or just plain do not care about midwest survive-ability

they obviously do not see any more of my age of truck because the top service advisor told me my fuel filter was not accessible somewhere in the fuel tank/by the fuel pump o_O

NOT Weiss. Bad experiences with the service managers there but the tech that did my frame swap was pretty sharp. My buddys' dad works for Ackerman and said the service department at Wolfe is better than theirs is, whatever that's worth. If you're looking for KNOWLEDGEABLE, MT Schiele in Webster Groves is on point.

I’ve had no problems with Pappas. I even sometimes text one of their service writers if I need something. They’re not a terrible dealer.

Just disable the airbag when you do, I know you'll be low speed, but those things are cannons and death to carseats.

Weiss is by far the WORST dealer in the Midwest, for sales and service.

Ackerman is ok. Scheduling is weird.

Lou Fusz, great place to buy, avoid their service department like the plague.

Twin City Toyota are top notch. They've got a 4Runner there with over 400,000 on display. Solid service department, good selection, and they have snacks in the waiting room.

Pappas is beside the Honda dealer right? If so that's where I test drove the 4runner OR and a Rav4 for the wife. Mainly because we was waiting for honda service for be finished. Idk if the wife would be ok with me spending a fortune on a older vehicle suspension! It's gonna get some spacers and probably good shocks to get by. More of a light off road rig and rough weather vehicle for her, since she slid the accord into a sign and scratched/ dented the rear bumper already. She is banned from bad weather driving my Tacoma when it shows up!

Twin City is halfway to Memphis lol
i suppose i could stop on in there on a Monday and see what kind of a preventative midwest plan they have and maybe don't have their heads where my local service guys have theirs

Yes but it's close to where @Willy224 and I live, and there's a well stocked QuikTrip in the parking lot.
