Those Wrap-It straps can really come in handy for a multitude of uses. Whether attaching to a persons rig who has no recovery points, using them as a tree-strap, or for lifting with a Hi-Lift Jack.

Rained most of the day so I spent some time indoors, drank way too much coffee, and made a hit list to keep the build on track.

    To do:
    -Replace spark plugs
    -Oil change
    -Antifreeze flush
-wash and oil intake air filter
    -DIY cabin air filter
    -DIY diff breather mod
    -Grind off shackle hangers
    -Install shackle flip
    -Finish removing shock mounts [chassis/axle]
    -Brake fluid flush
    -Install extended brake lines front/rear
    -Install wheel spacers
    -Cab mount chop
    -Hammer pinch weld
    -Trim inner fender plastic
-Mount bumps to ubolt flip plates.
    -Install rotors/pads
    -Install LCA skids
    -Install IFS skid
    -Install Mid skid
    -Install Fueltank skid
    -Reroute exhaust
    -Install trans skid
    -Install/Wire winch
    -Trim bedsides for rear bumper
    -Install rear bumper
    -Install/Wire reverse bumper lights
    -Install/Wire fog bumper lights
    -Install/Wire bar bumper light
    -Mount fuse panel
    -Mount switches/relays
    -Trim fenders
    -Trim fender flares
    -Experiment with pocket flares
    -Re-carpet canopy
    -Canopy curtains
    -Install/Wire canopy strip lights
    -Install/Wire canopy usb power outlets
    -Paint canopy
    -Paint pocket flares
    -HID retrofit
    -DTRL mod

    Researching:
    -4.56 vs 4.88 gearing
    -On board air and C02
    -Dual batteries
-Electrical system wiring, switches, fuse boxes, breakers, relays, etc.
    -Crawl box
    -CB radios
    -GPS solutions
-12v fridge or high end cooler?
    -Snorkels
    -Tool storage

    Waiting on:
-Shock relocation and cmc welding - [Need to schedule once prep work is done]
    -Tires - [October]
    -Alignment [when finished with suspension]

Quite the list to say the least haha

I vote for a high end cooler. I love my pelican 65qt, got it for $265 from Costco. Don't have to worry about wiring, can move it around in the truck (as in you don't have a designated spot by a wiring plug), use dry ice in the bottom and it'll keep everything frozen for a week. Literally, and I was in hot weather.

Only negative is its heavy. But it can be used as another seat/cook station. Oh and its bear proof

Not sure an $800+ ARB fridge can keep a bear out :)

After months of waiting for the 295 KO2's which were scheduled to drop next week I was just called with bad news that they wont be in for another two months. So now I'm debating going another direction, springing for 35's, or... keep waiting.

Currently I'm weighing the pros and cons if I went for the Dynapro 295's and tossed a few other options in the mix for size reference.

    Hankook Dynapro RT03
    295/75/16 = OD: 33.6"
    315/75/16 = OD: 34.8"

    Goodyear MTR

    285/75/16 = OD: 33.1"
    315/75/16 = OD: 34.8"

    BFG KM2
    315/75/16 = OD: 34.8"

    BFG KO2

    285/75/16 = OD: 32.8"
295/75/16 = OD: 33.39" (available end of Nov)
    315/75/16 = OD: 34.57"

MTR in 315 hands down. I've never run a tire with this kind of traction, went through mud this last weekend in 2wd that I would have needed 4x4 with my last MT's.. Granted they are a little loud on the road but worth it IMO. Definitely wish I would have gone 35's..

I agree with Brian. I went 285s and really wish I'd gone 315s from the get go. It'll be a little more work, but it'll save you money in the long run.

Yup, your going to do it anyway so might as well just dive in. Im mainly regretting it since the week after I bought my 285's the price went up $40/tire.. But also the size.

Seriously considering it guys, I've tossed the idea of 35's around for a long time now. Performance wise, I realize 285's are just fine for the wheeling I do. Looks wise, the 315's win hands down. This is where my logic came together to get 295's, I just split the difference.

After looking through build threads I keep going back to @Nate87's setup. Looks like he's once again inadvertently emptying my pockets.

Now to find a great deal and have Discount Tire price match  and many more hours of research into gearing/lockers/clearance...:pccoffee:

Look up discounttiredirect.com (im sure you have but just in case). I ordered my 285's from there.. Free shipping and with the free flat repair/replace it was cheaper than sales tax + free flat repair/replace from a store. Per tire is a little more than in store but still works out to be cheaper.. Or wait for discount's ebay store to have a sale, im sure they will for black friday.

Hell yeah, good rec! they're awesome to deal with. When I originally ordered the Ko2's I had them price match a 4wheelparts promotion. Saved a bunch that way, now to do it again.

My only concern at this point is that 315's are WIDE. I like the height but don't want them hanging way outside of the fenders. That said 36x12.5's would be the perfect setup in my opinion. But I'm stuck with getting something from Discount Tire being that I have credit with them from my returned 285's. So it's either figuring out how to stuff 35's within the fenders or follow through with the 295's.

Builds I've been using as reference while I figure this out:

    BabyTaco's setup: 315 MTR's, 16x8 wheels, +.75 spacers
(I'd rather my tires not stick out this far but it could be his lack of flares and oem bumper making it look that way)

    Nate87's Setup: 315 MTR's, 16x8 4.5BS, +.75spacers
(Same specs as Babytaco but look way different.. has to be the flares)

    PSU Taco87's setup: 36x12.5 TSL's on 16x8 4BS
    15450687366_5694be0963_c_zpse9baddd9_4d9049da3f8c8f984439d47c56e9e9bfb55d35d1.jpg

    n0rth's setup: 36x12.5 TSL's, 16x7.5 4.3BS, +1.25spacer front, +1spacer rear.
