    Cool! I've read good things about the Depos, but I'd probably put a little extra sealant on them before installing for added peace of mind. The only thing that throws me off about them is how glossy the inner black part is, kinda reminds me of the crappy aftermarket tails people tossed on cars in the early 2000's... Doesn't help that most of the product photos are of them on tasteless modded trucks. Sometimes I'm too darn picky...

    Good thing I never decided to slice up those res mounts for my 4runner. They look much nicer intact on your Tacoma.

    Oh yeah Washington is pretty darn nice. I'm up in Bellevue for a wedding and it's definitely a nice place to be.

    The mounts worked great, glad you didn't slice them up haha. Oh cool! I'm actually in downtown Bellevue right now at work. It's been a hazy day but the weekend was pretty nice out. Enjoy your stay!

    I have the Depo's on mine currently. The glossy black isnt that bad. One of those you can tell up close but from any sort of distance it really isnt noticeable IMO.

    As for the other set, those are just the stock ones off my '11. I have no idea what they are worth but I dont need to keep em.

    About a year of suspension hoarding came to an end last sunday at @Greddy's shop. Everything is on minus the rear shocks and shackle flip, still have a ton of metal to grind which will have to happen another day. Such a kickass day, cant wait to finish it up and hit the trail.

    Front suspension is DONE! :cheers:

    Mandatory sparks photo, check.

    Rear suspension is... partially done.

    Looking funny on those 31's but that'll soon change.

    Ill bring them when we do the lower WBDR unless you need em sooner.



    How is the bounce in the rear TacoStig? When i blew the seal on my rear shock it was kind of fun bouncing around! At speed or accelerating after a bump wasnt bad but speedbumps in parking lots the back bounced quite a bit.

    Randomly, it's not terrible. I almost forgot I didn't have shocks and was hanging steady at 65-70 on my commute. But one thing is for sure I need an alignment as my toe feels way out of wack. Have yet to hit a speedbump but I'm sure I'd turn into a pogo stick haha.

    Awesome! yeah of course I can wait until then. I think I got a couple other friends to go with us too. They are jeep guys, but we can laugh at them from all the way up in our tents, while they sleep in their rigs. haha

    Haha yeah at speed on the freeway i didnt notice it to much. But in the parking lot at the place i was staying was kind of fun...nice pogoing! Course I also had my pelfreybilt bumper and full skids in the back lol

    Black Depo's came in, installed them last night but I'm not too happy with the look.
    Maybe they'll grow on me, but I think I'll be keeping me eyes open for another set of OEM leds.

    I do agree on your truck they look a little off, maybe you'll get used to them. But what im really confused about is why you don't have 285's on yet?? :notsure:

    Yeah, they just don't do it for me. It's rare I'd ever prefer chrome to black but in this case I do. I feel it's mostly the red that I miss.

    They're mocking me in the garage... while I wait for their replacements. :spy:

    Unhappy taillight purchase aside... I finally fixed another unhappy purchase.

    After one failed grille buying experience the second was a success!

    Note: buying grilles from toyota sucks especially when they tell you the 2005-2011 is the same grille. No... it's not the same, it's just 'interchangeable'. So, I ended up with the non honeycomb version last time and they wouldn't take it back because I had to do a non VIN# parts order waiver.

    The 295's should be more than enough tire for this rig and my aesthetic tastes. They size out to be a true 33" vs my 285 32's"
