Very nice! Wish I had got the white instead of SWB!

    thanks!

Thanks man! Yeah, nothing against any other SWB owners, but the color just isn't for me. I love the white, except for the fact that EVERYTHING shows on it

Great job, truck looks awesome! I'm with you, less wheel, more tire! My 08' Taco is Silver and I'm blacking out everything just like you are doing. Going to try a "do it yourself" Satashi grill. (pics of the process to follow)

Thanks, ha we have the exact same truck. Even the same year. My truck came with those silver wheels but I like the white on black look better.

Ah, I didn't notice that. Idk if you are talking about the stock trd off-road wheels or the ones you have. But if you're talking about the trd ones, i liked them. I was just thinking about how they looked pretty good when I was looking at these old pics on my build earlier. I just decided to get these pro comp wheels because hardly any other tacoma around here has aftermarket wheels and I wanted to be different. Plus I love the look of the white on black. I hate the chrome! In case you couldn't tell from me getting rid of it with the new grille; all that's left is the rear bumper. I like yours too though, I almost bought a set of mickey thompson's like them, but I decided to go with the black. I remember you making a thread on here about plasti dipping them; you should. You could get a feel for how they would look blacked out.

Thanks for the compliments man. I love the double cab after coming from a single cab, so I'm sure you will too. The duratracs are a good tire. Obviously their looks speak for themselves. I've had mine on for over 20,000 miles and they still look brand new. I think they come with 18/32'' tread, and at my last rotate and balance, they were still at 15/32'' (i had somewhere between 15k and 20k on them at that time). So they obviously hold up well. They actually hold up too well, because I am wanting them to wear down so I can move up a few tire sizes soon, but the miles keep going up and they stay the same, lol. They have great off road grip. With my stock radio at about the 15-20 volume level, I can't hear them at highway speeds; so the sound isn't bad. What I like the best is that you get the aggressive looking off road look, but they don't melt down as quick as a true off road tire. They look like an MT, handle and ride like a regular tire, but don't go bald after 20k miles. So if you are wanting a good looking aggressive tire, but are not mudding or trail riding every week, these are the tire. There's no sense in people getting Nitto Mud Grapplers and Trail Grapplers or KM2's that cost an arm and leg, when they only drive the streets and melt those nice expensive tires down in no time. So they are an all around good tire that happens to look and perform pretty good too.

Edit: I see this was your first post. Welcome to the Forum from GA. Let me know if I can help you and thanks for honoring your first post to my build, lol.
