What's the purpose? We use Speed Tape (the aluminum tape) for temporary repairs in aviation, but you don't want to leave that on for prolonged periods.

Nice looking color! If I ever get around to repainting mine, I was leaning that direction.

Seal up those holes from leaking. Don’t have wheel liners so any and all water now comes up into the bed and pools

Do you know if the design for the pelfrey bumpers was any different between steel and aluminum? I am fairly sure i have a steel one from a 12-15 on my 09- bought it used though so dont know for sure

Yeah that’s a 12-15 bumper. Design was different between 05-11 bumpers. No difference between steel and aluminum though

Thats what i thought as well when i saw the elevated portions for the cut outs on the 12-15s headlights. Fits surprisingly good, just a little gap between the grill. Good excuse to upgrade to the 12-15 front end at some point

    Thanks man!

    No problem dude! Do it!
I think the only thing you’d have to upgrade is the grille and maybe the hood? I think the fenders are the same rounded angle but not 100% sure?

I think its the hood, grille, headlights, and core structure/brackets that go across the front. Fenders should be the same!

Ahh I think the bracket might be the same but I could be wrong about that. And I missed the headlights but obviously those would have to get swapped too. Find a cheap OEM pair off CL or Facebook lol

Yeah but that shit is expensive!

And i know man, i do appreciate you offering them to me many, many times. You'll learn im very weird with stuff, i like NEW STUFF, slightly used even gets to me. Maybe its because i was the first born/eldest? Maybe its because i was a spoiled little bastard lol

A part of it was also because i had no idea what was on my truck before i got it. (Turns out they were 884x's w/ 1/2" top spacers lol)

So i was deathly afraid of messing with one part at a time and wanted to just do it all at once.

Dude I get it. I love new stuff. No worries about issues it might have. Or what it may do to your truck or whatever else.

Just finished detailing and stripping the camper shell! Never again will I ever do this shit.
