Not sure the thickness of RCI but BAMF 1/4" is a bone breaker if dropped on faces.

The 4 cross member bolts I just hammer back to the point where I can rest the skid up against the crossmember and then hammer them back into place so the skid sits on em. Maybe BAMF is different.

Pretty sure RCI is the same. Thankfully my head was like an inch from it at the time. Still gave me a ringing headache.

My mid skid and tcase skid bolt up through the stock crossmember. When I pull out the stock bolts to line skids up and put bigger bolts back through my crossmember drops a bit getting the holes out of allignment, atleast it is only one side, the other side stays in place

I just got to get use to it and figure out the tricks of the trade ... I am going to see if I can run my bolts like yours .. .. mine face the other way ... maybe I'm an idiot and put them in backwards? sure hope so .. if so I could just hammer them like you and wouldn't need to pull them all the way out when removing skids . .. TBD this weekend.

So I know when I installed my skids, the OEM bolts were facing towards the front and instructions for the skids said to pull one at a time and replace it with the supplied bolts and put them the opposite way if you have both rear skids. Worth a shot my man

Yeah I put them back in the way they came out. BAMF has no instructions :bananadead:

Hopefully that's the case and I can tackle that this weekend with my homey.

No worries, the time and cost is not what enticed me, it's the location and the two birds one stone ... give wife time off from kids and get work done on truck. Funny thing is alot of the work I've done on my truck has been in Dublin. Bring the kids up, grandma gets time with her grandkids, and I get my brother or pops to help me work on my truck as needed in a bigger work area with a larger set of tools than I have here.

Finally home from a quick little 2 nighter to Corral Hollow. First trip this summer and my buddy with the Jeep just slapped on 37's so he wanted to test fit without worrying about ripping a fender off. Decided on this trail since we've done it before and its an easy two nighter.
I really needed this trip lol. Heres a few pics

Bringing home this little gremlin next week lol. We named her after the raptor in Jurassic World. There’s no way that will come back to bite us in the ass
