Yeah I went with the BAMF relocation. I've had everything sitting in the garage pile for the past couple months lol :frusty:

Oh definitely. The Zeon is so beefy, I'm not even sure the double row light bar is still gonna fit with it in there. I messaged Pelfreybilt and spoke to Michael and he's gonna email me some pictures of an install they just did with the Zeon solenoid relocation kit. I'll get a better idea of where I'm going to mount it once the winch comes in on Tuesday and then I'll post on here with any updates

What a bitch of an install this was. But with a dremel and the right amount of force, anything is possible.

Edit: For anyone wondering, a double row lighter will fit in the Pelfrey bumper with the Zeon.

Looks good! Definitely looks like a tight fit. Is that the way Pelfrey recommended?

I'm not sure how Pelfrey installed their Zeons on the company trucks, but mine took a little effort lol. Contractor relocated to the engine bay was a pain too since those 2g wires want to bend their own way.

1.25" spacers removed cause too much rubbing. We'll see if the rear shocks rub after install tomorrow at @559 MOTORSPORTS and then go from there. Hoping that if they do rub, a .75" will do the trick.

I can imagine it took a little effort. Lol. I wasn't sure if they sent you the pics from their installs. I'll be doing this at some point.

I talked to Michael and he sent me a pic of the solenoid in the engine bay only his way a Platinum so the relocation kit comes with a new case/ cover for it. Standard Zeon doesn't so its a little smaller and easier to make work. I think the reason why mine was rubbing on the grille support was because I like my Pelfrey bumper sitting up a little higher than it resting on the mounting lugs. Dremel had it knocked out pretty quick and then a little bending in other areas.
Like this little fucker rubbing the back of the winch

Oh man, keep an eye on that! It'd be a bummer if it broke it and this happened.

Now you got me paranoid as hell. Might have to scooch the winch forward a hair. Dont know how the fuck I'll do that with it mounted on the truck lol. I checked it one last time before calling it and I managed to push it away from the winch by a pube hair so we'll see how it goes.

Honestly I'd be a little paranoid as well. With how much stuff flexes and moves while off road, it'd be best to play it safe and get as much space in between there as you can. I'm curious how close mine is......

That pic you posted looks like it was in a wreck or something? Bumper looks pushed up against the frame

I stole that from the cheap bumper ebay thread. With those bumpers, you have to notch part of it out to keep it from rubbing on that line. It's just a good visual of what can happen if that line breaks.

@559 MOTORSPORTS in Fresno, CA putting in hard work yet again! This time on the rear suspension. All the parts had been sitting for months. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect install by Jake and Adam. Nothing but quality customer service both visits.

Man I'm jelly you have a local shop who knows what they're doing with the shock relocate. I really want that paired with a shackle flip to get mad droop in the back.

I love watching this thread, secretly building my wishlist for my taco. You keep us broke mofo's dreaming, truck is looking too good.

Fresno is a bit closer for me and that still quite a drive! Seems like its worth it, added to "the list" lol

This was their first relocation, so the fact they nailed it on the head so perfectly amazes me! They were using the app on the phone to get the angle degree of the shock perfectly haha
