    I took an arc welding class at the community college near my parents. Think it was something like $300 for the semester, but it was both book and hands on stuff. Worked mainly in flat and horizontal...the next class focused on vertical and overhead. Think they offered like 5 or 6 differnt welding classes, and after the first 3 classes you could take a cert test.

And as for shingling over shingles, you're retarded. That cuts the life of the new shingles down, holds moisture in, looks like shit because it's so thick, and costs more when you do tear them off. And how do you know if the deck is bad? The shingles will hide any slightly damaged decking. Go sit on the beach. We all know youre good at that
