    4Runner gone bye-bye...but I have a lovely 99 Tacoma again :D actually has fewer miles than the Runner does :laugh:





    ....and a Chevy 2500 that will be getting a camper very very soon

    No, I bought Runner used. When I got him I had intended to get a bumper pull camper but soon realized that that wasn't the best set up for me so I stayed with the tent. But that's getting old (and so am I). Started researching truck campers a year ago or so and decided that was the better set up for me. Runner was paid for and in good shape so I got decent $$$ for him.
    Found the exact full size truck I wanted at a local dealer last fall and bought it - 3/4 ton, long bed, gas, leather interior, tow package. Two weeks before that mom and dad bought a turd gen and were almost gonna sell my Baby Toy to some high school kid. I put a stop to that and got Toy back. He's my DD now. Couldn't stand the thought of him going to some kid who wouldn't really appreciate him.
    So now I have my Baby back...and the blue beast.

    right now the "perfect" one is an Adventurer 901SB but its a little pricey

    Well, That's a full-on glamper if I've ever seen one! :cool:

    What do those run? Never considered a slide-in for the taco because even the 2nd gen is not the best platform for it.
