Hey everyone, I lurk on here more than I post, but I started my build slowly back when I got my truck the first week of October. Ill post as many updates as I can and parts used, and all that good stuff. For more updates and better info you can follow my instagram @TacticalTanTacoma as im able to post more quickly on there.
Bear with me with the formatting, im not computer savvy.

The day after I got my truck. Bone stock TRD Off Road with JBL/tow package etc.

    IMG_6792.jpg

Next I color matched the fender flares, and added a 50" curved light bar with relentless Fab roof mounts. I also Made a Satoshi grille with mesh and lettering from Matt at Custom Car grills . com.

    IMG_7071.jpg

Then I got my CBI OffRoad Fab hood brackets for my LED Lightpods. They said I got the first set which was cool, and they're made very well and mount easily.

    IMG_7090.jpg

Then I found a local member who wanted to swap hoods, so I was able to get a hood scoop (love the look, but it gets a glare from the sun and cant see as much while offroading.)

    IMG_7132.jpg

    IMG_7134.jpg

Then everything halted somewhat while I figured out my next move. Luckily without much time to think I got in Touch with Corey at Insain Fab in Thornton, CO, and he's giving my baby a facelift. Ill Post a teaser pic of the truck at the shop, but you'll all have to wait for the progress pictures until I pick it up. :oldglory:

    IMG_7172.jpg

I'd love to answer any questions/comments/concerns to the best of my ability. Also open to suggestions for the build. I'm thinking an expedition type build since I don't do any one thing more than the other, and since its my daily driver I wont be able to do as much crazy stuff as most of you. With an expedition build ill still be able to do anything ill ever need to and have a ton of fun. Hope to see you all on the trails!

Not yet. The paint got held up a bit because of the snow yesterday and today. Hoping to pick it up Friday and I will post pics as soon as I am back from picking it up (then I'll find a trail suitable for pics and have my wife take some dslr pics)
I'll drop this as a teaser though. image.jpg

Looks great so far. Insain Fab got a huge head start on bumpers. They built a lot of the SEMA trucks. I liked the tube bumper a lot but their plate one looks nice too! Sub'd!
