You might want to get in line. He's ordering CNC parts on Monday.

I could probably help save you on shipping, as I pick up my parts in NY, and go to Ottawa (Greely) quite often; and to Gatineau for the cheap beer at COSCO!

They are difinitely a must have if you have a cap. I have the total chaos, which are pretty much ready to ship at any moment, but they are more that what this guy is selling for.

Also as a tie down point, they are awesome.

Yeah, the TC's are $150 USD plus shipping from Wheeler's or TC. These came out to $140 CAD with the exchange. I think these ATH ones look a little cleaner. It appears that ATH may be incorporating a bottle opener in the future as well.

 ... for when you're parked for the night, of course.

My gaps are not that bad... and I think my shmellfab antenna holder won't work if I close the gap...
What do you think M. Zilla?

I was thinking the same, as I am facing the same issue. The bracket has slotted holes on the base. With those, you can bolt down the bracket and still leave a small gap for the antenna mount without resetting the bedsides at 90 degrees to the floor. This will prevent further splaying of the bedsides.

... and his newer design trims back the upper tabs and includes a bottle opener.

Scooped a Plano Gun Guard off of kijiji yesterday. It was missing some foam blocks, so I moved the rest to use it for taking my travel rods to Cuba. I'll repurpose it again later.

Damn... sorry for you... but happy for me I'll pass for now I think...

Do you have the mobtown tailgate lip on top of your tailgate? Is that you shell door that went through the paint?

Does the shell door close better with the brackets?

Yeah, I loaded my cap pretty heavy and should have braced the bed before doing some trails, and perhaps driving a tad fast on some areas I shouldn't have been.

I have the relentless fab tailgate skin. It was all bent when I received it (shipped with my bumpers). Its mainly scratched from the cap, but being aluminum, it wasn't painted that well to begin with (I spray painted the lip only). Nothing was really affected with the bed being bowed, but it was just another area that could fail down the road, so I remedied it before it did (hopefully).

Even having the extra tie downs has been great for me. I was always looking for something to hook on to between the bed rail and the tie down on the bottom. Have it now.

I added 6 tie down in my bed the first summer I had it lol Toyota are cheap on tie downs!

I usually don't load stuff on crossbars on the shell but sometimes a canoe or a 12' alu fishing boat so the stiffeners could be great to have. They are on top of my wishlist now lol

I think aluminum needs a "special" treatment before painting, if we need it to hold for a long time, am i right?

No, aruminumium is not a pain to paint, simply hard to pronounce.

    https://www.krylonindustrial.com/product/rust-tough-acrylic-alkyd-enamel/

DOM application... dries in 15 minutes... works like a charm.

... and it looks like Nate is on a roll. Check out his hidden winch mount.

    https://core-canada.com/collections/armour/products/tacoma-hybrid-bumper

I'm thinking of dumping my Pelfrey HWM and getting that. It will be more than enough for me, as I take the easy route through bush and brush.

... and there's no thread jack here!

I have a Pelfreybilt Hidden Winch Mount NIB in the garage. I also have the Smittybilt X20 Comp 10K winch to install. I think this route will be much less intrusive, as I'll remove parts and replace without cutting, I can keep my AVID bar, TRD skid, and it provides added skid/scuff protection.
