It's a 10 year old cap. I need to replace the latch ($50), but I want to go keyless entry, so I need to buy the solenoid too.

Great find on the cap. I'm considering that aluminum one I showed ya. Hard to find a cheap colour matched one.

I was going to grab that contractors cap, but there's no rear door window.

PM'd on another that I found.

Yeah I didn't mind lack of rear window since I have my tire covering the back so I can't see regardless lol.

Good thing I used my trailer to go pick it up. A couple of bolts that tie it down were seized, so we cut them off. I finally installed it on Saturday and cleaned it up. The black on grey looks better than I thought it would.

Gotta love the zip tail handles at the back, but I do have a new handle that's going on. I also ordered the solenoid for keyless entry. I want to be mall ready.

My wife's relatives from Franklin are coming up here this year for a week. I have 36x24 tiered deck that I'm putting on the side of the house, therefore free labour is always good. It will probably be at Christmas when I come down.

You were threatening to, but did you trade your truck in for the 4Runner?

Cool! I found a nice ARB Simpson III RTT and Baja roof rack. Picking them up next week. Well, the rack for sure, but gonna put a deposit on the tent. Getting ready for some local back woods fishing trips and then our east coast trip in a couple of years.

I need a low profile antenna to replace the shark fin. It's an older rack without the cut-out. Any suggestions?

Can't have a hood scoop without the early '70s look.

Drive by there plenty of times! Wooler Rod is a short cut for me. I'll keep an eye out for ya, but need to know what colour/year you drive.

    Cheers!

I'm sure one day i'll make a build thread, im 18 and in school right now so no time to do anything since I'm in Ottawa at school :/ I drive the speedway blue tacoma, 2005, DCLB, ill be there 6 days a week at dibbits so youll probably see me a few times throughout the summer :D

there's only 3-4 speedway blue tacomas in the trenton / brighton area, one of them is really beaten up

here's a recent-ish picture, waiting for all the salt and crap to get off the roads before putting new rims on :) current ones are peeling and look like crap :(

    Check The Build Thread
Thanks for the response in your FS thread Marc! I didn't want to BS in that thread so figured I'd take it here. I toyed with the idea of putting an LED in that gap on the Back Rack, and the fact that you have one custom made for it piqued my interest a bit; however, I'm debating with myself on a camper shell.

I love the open bed option with the tonneau but I also want something enclosed that can support an RTT. I'm now toying with the idea of a custom bed rack from SOS Concepts that'll work with the ACCESS LiteRider. Then find someone here to make me a canvas cover for the bed rack, which shouldn't be too hard since I'm in Hilton Head (think boat sails, cabin enclosures, etc.). Then again, easier and probably cheaper to just go ahead and get a shell...
