1/18 works for me. I'll vote. OP- I suggest making your "12" option a bit clearer. I had to read the thread to figure out what that meant. Also, I would suggest adding a vote by date request and start getting a head count since next weekend is an option.

 

Yeah sorry about that, I tried editing it but I think it would ultimately mess up the count. I'll leave it up until late tommorow then get a head count for that date. That sound good?

Sundays/Mondays for me, Saturdays are also one the busiest on the trails from others.

 

Would you guys entertain having 2 groups? One on the 18th and one on the 12th?

 

Might be better that way. Don't want too many people in one group.

 

To be honest, I am looking more to meet others then going off-road so I will look for a meetup or start a thread for that specifically.

Yeah, I was watching that but last I checked they decided on a Sat, no go on Sat's. I will just need to post one and hope others join.

yeah its an everyone can do it type thing, usually trail meets get discussed and organized in the thread

 

I was kinda looking for a trail run but the last PNW run is still all in the shadows and something happened and I am not sure I want to take a brand new truck on a trail.. the first scratch is the hardest and so far there are no scratches, but it is also my DD.. so I need to make sure it stays fit to be a DD.

I am switching to very low key "exploring" type runs.. like you know "noob runs" to get my feet wet.. but I am thinking of places where I can do a meet and will post soon about one.. just not sure if Coffee or Beer (I do not drink), or what is more liked? Also thought doing a meet at a local off-road retailer might be nice so we can all look and talk about all the toys we want... all up in the air.. I know there is some shop in Issaquah (Interesting, apparently the forum spell checker needs updated) area that is suppose to be really nice.

Trouble with this is that someone else needs to step up and be the leader. Need to be rigorous about reminders, determining meet time/ place, etc.

 

Yep and for Saturday, I will never be able to do a Sat.

 

Don’t expect to go on any trail run and not get a scratch. You can go drive around on forest service roads and see some cool sights but they’re not trails. For instance, the last run we went on in the snow wasn’t even a trail, it was simply a forest road.

trails around here are usually tight and brushy so pinstripes are almost guaranteed
