Tahuya ORV Meetup, WA

Well shoot. I haven't been out to Tahuya yet. I'd be down if there's still room. I can do either 12th or 18th, or both.

Maybe I can set up a stall next to the trail: Who needs ammo cans?

 

I mean that would make it a lot easier for me to get them and would have to bother anyone else lol I don't know that i trust myself in my pavement princess on the trails tho lol.

Well I might be down for some of the speedbumps and maybe a curb if I get really ambitious... but actually sounds like they're planning to meet at safeway in belfair and thats not 10 minutes from me. And who knows maybe ill follow everyone out there...

 

The last thing I heard was for the Sat so I been looking at doing just a meet up for some Sunday, after talking to a few others I do not want pin stripes yet.. after I get my first ding/dent/scratch I am sure it will matter less.

I would not mind doing, what I guess people call forest roads for sights and fun for now.

 

Im going clam digging out on the peninsula this weekend so if theres a meet on the 12th ill be there. Never been to Tahuya before

 

We’re still debating on the snow run that’s Saturday though. Just processed again this was Sunday, my bad lots going on. You think we would make it through for the Seahawks game or is that up in the air like most trail runs?

 

I’m in for the 12th.

 

I know that someone is leaving at 1, I forgot which user but I think he's going the 12th.

Damn.. I've never been to Tahuya. I'm out in Tacoma. If I do go, I may have to leave early. Bday party and getting wasted for the Seahawks game.

This Sunday. Do you think a crew cab tundra could make the trails? He's stock with 33" MTs.

 

I went in a group with a stock 4x4 dodge 2500 crew cab short bed diesel. He did stupid stuff, but made it out in one piece. Your friend will be just fine, it will be tight though.

 

Looks like the 12th may be getting a bit crowded. I think someone said we should limit the groups which I generally agree with. I can check out the 18th if it ends up packed. Snow run tomorrow is looking a bit doubtful.

 

I forgot he works Sundays.. sucks for him lol. But I'll be there in Belfair by 930am. I'll probably leave around 12-1 depending on how gnarly these trails are. I'm relatively 2.5 inch lift on 33s and new to all this 4x4 stuff. I've always driven lowered Acuras lol.

 

@LittleBlueHilux69 Is anyone going on Sunday that has been there before?

 

This is my primary concern as well.

Edit: I won't be going if we have more than 4 or 5 trucks or we don't have someone experienced leading.

 

I have no idea, but I'll see if I can pull sunday off because the 18th seems like a bust. I've been there 5 times.
