Not so much a loop - more like a big cluster of trails that crisscross.
I could camp both, but I'm kind of interested in seeing how the weather pans out this time.

Lol good one. This is washington.

I would be down for camping both nights. I don't know about hitting trails with my rig though. I'm running a crappy spacer lift, and I barely trust it going down the road right now, let alone some 4x4 trails where it actually needs to flex.

If anyone needs a spotter I got your back.

It sounds like most of this is pretty mellow. I had spacers on my 4Runner for a few months and did some minor off-roading (nothing too technical) and it was fine. I'm guessing you can bypass the harder trails if you wanted.

Yeah I can make it work then. If we hit minor trails I will go, if you guys hit the harder stuff I can just jump in and spot.

I won't be hitting the hard stuff either.

So far, it looks like a few of us are going out Saturday, some are camping, then others are coming Sunday to meet up with the people who camp. I think that made sense. :)

The trail is easy, for the most part always turn right. It's perfect right now as there is just enough mud to have fun. I went the end of last summer and everything was bone dry. It was my first time out and I passed a Nisan limping back with a HUGE gouge taken out of the side of his truck and missing a mirror. He warned me not to go any further cuz " the trail will eat my truck alive." this was with stock tires and no lift. I didn't listen to him, and boy am I glad. He must have been used to riding on the short bus because I was never put in a position where I could have done that much damage at all. There are hill climbs that can be done in 2 wheel. There are some rock gardens that a lift is required for. There is a huge mud pit but there are so many tree stumps that you kinda just drive around things. There are many crossing paths so if you get "scared" you can turn off. Anything bigger than a bump in the road has a turn off to drive around it. It is very scenic, and very clean. The old enterence is blocked off so meeting at Safeway is good.

I have a cb but can't get it tuned. I want it on my light bar across the back of the bed but can't get it to tune down low enough. Looks like I really needed a no ground plane for the spot I want it with the way the bed is designed. Any help would be great. All the cables are run and ready to go but i might just have to get a different mounting point and go at it again. There is cell service over most of the area though.

Even if you drive slow under 8 mph, and take every loop it can take 5 hours at most. If you turn back to try an area again it can be an all day trip full of fun. Good to break your teeth, I have been back many times now just for the mindless enjoyment of it. Hope this helps. I can try to get some photos up, not sure if they will help much.

I will be monitoring the weather as well and hoping for clear skies since I'm wanting to camp both nights. If it is gonna be pouring again, I might limit it to one night.

I don't have a CB, but I might try to pick one up this week. It seems to be essential if I plan on doing more outings. There's a guy selling a Cobra 19DX close to me for cheap. I emailed him this morning.

Good info! Thanks man . I will try to get a CB this week, but I am completely ignorant on the subject, so I am being pretty ambitious about getting it installed on my own. I also need: oil change, recovery gear, air compressor, fender/wheel well trimming, and maybe an alignment (or wait until after),

Getting a CB tonight (Cobra 19DX) with a magnet antenna (no idea the specs) for $20. Will attempt to find a good mounting location and install it this upcoming week.

I am excited and nervous at the same time. I want to mount it discreetly in the cab (glovebox, center console, side of the center dash area, map pocket in the door) but I am really gonna have to rack my brain about the antenna. Either stay with a magnet or make a mount similar to Mike's, or try to use the same hole on the roof-rack on my canopy that my flag mount is located. :notsure:

Lots of planning to put into it. :goingcrazy:

I ended up hiding mine for the time being under the passenger seat. With an external speaker. I plan on moving it to the dash where Mike put his

I have no CB, but i do have walkie talkies and cell phones. I posted this on TSNW and one of the girls there wants to come out with her boyfriend for this. unfortunately, he has a pretend truck instead of a real one, and the POS says ranger on it.

i am really thinking of coming out for all day saturday. i might camp, but i doubt it. anybody scare of pit bulls? i might bring one of my boys with me.

Yeah I will probably be stuck with walkie talkies too but I have a few to bring as extras too, not that we will really need them it's not that bad. Not sure if it was mentioned but this is one of the parks that does require the discovery pass, but Walmart sells them if you are in a pinch. If you have a quad the other half of the trails are dedicated to bikes and quads, it's pretty sick.
