Tail Gate Panel Bolts

    I’ve had my tailgate panel off a couple of times to install backup cameras and don’t remember the top bolts fitting like shown in the pictures. The top holes in the panel are not large enough for the bolts to recess. I do know that the top bolts are different than the others.
    Could someone look at theirs and let me know if mine are installed correctly?

    You have your panels installed wrong. The tail gate cap is supposed to fit over the main panel.

    If you plan to take the panel off again you might want to grab some of the plastic inserts next time you're at the dealer; after you've taken the screws out a time or two they don't hold well anymore.
