Tail Gate Panel options

I've been eye balling the trail gater because it has legitimate cup holders.

 

1/4" HDPE. Got to talking to a vendor at work and she had a 17"x96" cut off. Paid $60, kept 60" for this and sold the other 36" piece to my boss for $20 so I'm in it for $40 and about a half hour of work.

Wasn't crazy about the white but for $40 who cares. It's also somewhat translucent and I think I can light it up from the backside.

 

Is there any reinforced tailgate cap available for the 3rd gens? I had one for my 2nd gen but can't seem to find one available for 3rd gen.

Thanks! Is it possible to get just the cap and not the panel?

Also, is the thickness of the cap the same as OEM? I have bakflip cover and the tailgate fits precisely with the bedcover.

 

Also curious to see if you make the panel without the cap. If not, have you received any feedback on how it works with a camper shell?

Also, do you know what the capacity of the tailgate is with your panel?

Do you have the overall panel dimensions by any chance? I searched your profile but can’t seem to find it.
Looking at local starboard suppliers currently.

 

I’d like to replace mine for many of the same reasons and the plastic ones seem ok to not add much weight…..my guess is they’re all super slippery especially when wet.

The oem is like an ice rink with just a little bit of moisture. Had a few close calls loading my dirt bike in the morning and added some grip tape.
Flat would be better for camping too.
