I'd put that pick and pluck foam in there and carry, uh, things.

You have my attention. Always down for more functionality. Got lots of light knick knacks (snow brush, tarps, towels) that would be perfect in there.

My only question is how it will work with the structural metal under there. Will they just be cut out? Going to have to regain that structural rigidity in another way. It's hardly a single open cavity under there.

This is what I was thinking. After pulling off that panel more times then I can count- there’s not a whole lot of room (maybe you get 2 small boxes on the outer edges)

    Ask my accountant
Gonna need a team of oxen to close the thing after this. I close alot of dodge, ford and chevy tailgates at work and i usually almost fly over the bed because theyre so light compared to the toyota.

They have a video we're one the technicians is jumping up and down on the tailgate. Looked like no issues on the video, and it was on a concrete floor!

If you go to their Facebook page Huracan Fabrication, they show videos of the whole process.

    What's Facebook?
Make it convenient for us. Post the link to the video, here in the thread.
Or better yet, upload it to Youtube or somewhere we non-FB mammals can view it, thanks.

Click the link and watch. Easy as that. You don’t need to know what Facebook is.
