    What you want is an ignition coil. Pass a few thousand volts through them.

    Mine's a second gen., if it wouldn't have fit, it would be an easy return. Can't see why it wouldn't fit a third gen.? Only thing relevant is the gap between the end gate. Can't see that changing. Locks real positive too & yes, unlike offshore stuff like my locking gas cap, you can get spare keys cut.
