Installing a trailer lamp kit. After removing the screws. Which way do you pull on the lamp to remove it from the side of the truck. Sorry to ask stupid questions.

If I might add. I recently checked which screws I had to remove to pull the light assembly out.

It takes considerable force to pull the assembly out. Why?

There are a couple of mechanical grippers holding the assembly in.

It sounds like a gun going off pulling the thing straight back to pop it out.

    Hope this helps!
