Tail light conversion

I ripped my pass side tail light off. I found a set of TRD led tail lights off a 14 taco. Will they hook up on my 05?

How did you rip your tail light off?

 

All the tail lights are the same. There are no TRD tail lights. 05-08 had the non led tails. 09-15 had led tails.

 

At Gilmer wheeling at Barnwell Mt. Came off a ledge and landed on the bumper end and it pushed up and popped my tail light out. And broke the tabs on the taillight housing

Will going from a none LED to LED affect the electrical system?

 

Only if you're using non oem leds. The oem led tail lights will work fine. If you use non oem leds in turn signals you will need resistors to prevent the turn signals from hyper flashing.
