    sorry for resurrecting an old thread -- i'm curious if you can fit an oversized spare with the way the exhaust is? I have a 285/75/17 ~ 34" and with the exhaust cut right by the axle the exhaust would dump too close to the tire and melt it if idling, I've been running a tire carrier for a few yrs (Wilco) but would like to figure out a way to get the spare back underneath

    Yeah thanks, didn't look at the pic. Been running mine chopped for 9 months and haven't melted a tire. The tail pipe gets warm there, not hot. Definitely not melt a tire hot.

    For 34" tires you need the full width between the frame rails. No room for exhaust too.

    Curious if the People's Republic of California will have an issue with a chopped exhaust. Anyone been to emissions testing with it?
